E-Taste Food Court(updated)

This place is located at where i circled on the map.

I've blog about this place before just that last time the quality of the pictures is not that good. So, this time i'm going to review it again. Here is the famous clay pot foods.

Curry Mutton, my favorite among all the choices.

Original Mutton Soup, a little bit blend of herbal flavor.

Assam sour fish, recommended.

Trying out the kankong belacan at the back, and it taste incredibly delicious, have not eaten such a delicious kankong belacan for quite sometime. Not that salty. It is spicy, recommended.

There also been a change of the owner here. They have a new drinks menu, here's what we have tried out. Honey Green Tea.

Yam. Recommended for those who love yam flavor as it has a strong taste of yam.

No idea what this call, didn't try it.

Just a reminder here, the clay pot foods here should cost around RM7-RM8, their menu will change depends of which day. The new special drinks here cost around RM3-RM5 if i'm not mistaken.

Do come early at night if you want to eat those claypot foods, or else many of their signature dish might sold out as early as around 8pm.

Peach Garden(updated)

Just find out a new stall at peach garden here where i review .

The stall is located at the side, not inside. This stall sell mainly Hong Kong local favorite foods.

"Zha Jiang Mian", taste a little bit sour, but nice.

"Ma Lak Mian", never eaten a soup version of Ma Lak Mian before, the spiciness is moderate. Is almost like HK version of Sarawak Laksa.

Forgot the price since this is taken days ago. But it should be around RM3 to RM4.

Butter Chicken@RM4.00. Crispy and oily butter around it.Not that nice. The stall is located outside.

I love this one! Crispyy on the outside and soft inside with red bean filling. This stall is located at the first few stall outside. RM2.00 for 3.

Lion Head@RM1.00 each.First time eating this, first bite, will make you crave for more! SUPER CRISPY on the outside, Lotsss of juicy delicious meat inside. A must try.

Mo Chi@RM4.00,big. Taste quite nice with those peanuts, but nothing special.

Fried oyster@RM9.00, one word,crispy.

Curry, spicy Indian flavor.

Belacan. Not nice compare to the rest i've try in Kuching.

Well, the "char shio" here is the best,RM4 per person. It taste a little bit sweet in a nice way.

As for the chicken meat here is not recommended, is too dried.

老李food court(updated)

This place is located at where i circled on the map.

Most people come here the pork leg rice, it's the best one you can find in town.

The soup here taste great along with the rice.

The main dish for 4 person@RM20.00.

The belacan here is a must have for the meats,if you are someone who love extra spicy, you sure will love this one. One suggestion from me is that you add the belacan in the soup provided,it taste great.

Not much about the foods from the food stall, but the food from the seafood side here is nice.

Their fried small noodle is one of my favorite fried noodle in Kuching. It cost RM3.00 each and the ingredients is a lot.

Will be updating about here again when i get to try the seafood here.

皇上皇(RH plaza,BDC)

This place is located at where i circled on the map.

This is one of the many places to have a family dinner, the food here can consider among the best in Kuching.

The butter prawn here taste great, give it a try.

The belacan kankong here taste not bad too, it is not that salty.

Their salted fish meat is a must try when you come here.

First time trying this, spare ribs with special sauce, not spicy, the taste is quite sweet. The meat is tender.

Bean curd with minced meat, nothing much about this dish, but the minced meat is a lot.

Overall, 5 dish, one pot of Crysanthenum drink, RM87 . Quite reasonable for a air-conditioned restaurant.

享記茶室(carpenter street)

This place is located where i circled on the shop.

I'm sure all the Chinese citizens here in Kuching know this place, Is the most famous and delicious kolomee you can find here in Kuching. This is their new signboard.

Most people come here order their special soup and kosong mee or rice.Waited for like 50 minutes for this.i order this special soup here without "pak lai",means without those intestine and liver which i don't like,so if you only like the meat, just tell them you don't want "pak lai".One word can only describe this, delicious!

This is the so called black vinegar noodle(o cho mee,in hokkien),this kosong mee cost RM1.70 per bowl and its a lot.

Some little information here, when you come here you either have to wait for a seat or you are asked to share with someone else, and just wait for them to order and serve for you when you are seated, if you being impatient and complain for waiting so long, you probably will be "scolded".

This place is operating from morning until noon.

Green Hill Corner(Infront of Medan Pelita,Ala Cart)

This place is located at where i circled on the map.

This is the old sign board they use but it is now moved inside, the new signboard outside is now in purple color,if i'm not mistaken.

One of the famous stall here is obviously the beef noodle here, its been operating here for years, the beef noodle is consider my favorite in Kuching. But is quite expensive,it cost RM4.00 each. What's nice about the beef noodle here is the noodle they use, nothing much about the meat.

The chicken rice and malay mee goreng taste great but they only open during morning till noon. But the beef noodle stall is open during both morning and night.

So be sure to come here on the right time for the right food.

Thompson Corner(Nanas Road)

This place is located at where i circled on the map.

This is the place to come whenever i want to eat "kampua".The kampua stall is the most corner one shown on this picture with the shell sponsored signboard.

This Kampua@RM2.60 for me is consider the best kampua in Kuching.Whenever i come here,i will order their kampua with chili sauce and soy sauce. The reason i like so much about this kampua is because thier char sio and the gravy(if you order the one with chili and soy sauce) which makes this kampua so delicious. The taste is not that spicy, instead its a little bit sweet and spicy. So my suggestion is,when you came here, order the one with chili and soy sauce.

Some nice foods here you can try is the claypot noodle and fishball special soup.

Elephant(Ang Cheng Ho)

This place is located on where i circled on the map.

"Elephant",i think not much people know about this place because the location of this place is quite hidden, somebody might also missed it driving through here.

This my favorite place to have western food in Kuching. Their pasta and spaghetti is great.

One of their spaghetti you must try is their "smoked beef garlic pasta"@RM14.90. The gravy is rich and thick and with the combination of smoked beef slice makes this pasta superb.

Here's some of the list of foods they serve.

First time trying out this dish called "fried carbonara chicken chop"@RM14.90, it is a deep fried boneless chicken which comes along with a special dip sauce they made. Nothing much about the crispy chicken, but when you dip the chicken into the sauce,it is incredulous delicious. The taste of the dip sauce is some sort like mixture of cream of chicken and mushroom soup.

Last but not least thier mix grill@RM16.90, with chicken and lamb. The lamb and chicken taste quite average, but the sauce is nice, you have it either black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce.

Overall, the foods here may be a bit more expensive than places like Richmond and Westwood. But my suggestion is that the spaghetti and pasta here is a must try.
