Ipoh town kopitiam(Jalan song)

This place is located at where i circled on the map, there should be some newly open retail shops there, seems like google has not updated the map.

This is the second outlet in Kuching after it first opened in Boulevard which has just opened recently.

The foods and drinks serve here. Noodles. Quite expensive.

Their signature drinks. White coffee.

Ice blended.

Ipoh town dry curry mee. Taste quite nice, recommended for those likes spicy foods.

They have different kind of toast too. Nothing special actually, just like every other one you can find in coffee shop.

Kaya and butter toast.

White Coffee. Recommended. Rich aromatic coffee flavor. Didn't try the ice blended ones, but i would rather suggest this original one since is much more cheaper.

Is self service here, you are given a pencil and paper to tick what you want and pay directly at the counter. As you can see there is a pencil in the above picture.

You can get discount here too if you come here on the right time and right stuff.

The foods here are rather expensive, but it seems like a good place to have a breakfast or a tea break enjoying toast and coffee. That's all for this post.

老李food court(ban hock road)

This food court is located at ban hock road which is shown on the map on where i circled.

I will make a new post with the picture of the food court when i go there.

I was suggested to try out one of the kuih at here which they bought back, which is the "chai thao kuih" in hokkien.

This "chai thao kuih" taste great because of the shrimp mixture inside and it is still crispy even it is brought back from there hours ago. They say it is fried on spot and sold hot and delicious at there unlike many stalls which is ready made from home and sold outside.

One of the foods that must tryout at there is definitely the pork leg rice, it is one of the best i've ate in Kuching.I will make a food review about it soon.

五味汤 and curry puff(open air market and india street)

Remember the 五味汤 i mentioned about on my previous post, will be sharing some pictures with you all, is the same place, open air market.

This is the stall i'm talking about

If you ask me whats so special about the 五味汤 here, is the special jelly here. not the pink colours one, is the almost transparent cube-like thing.

Close-up look of "yi bee" and the jelly i mentioned about, What i like about this jelly is that its very nice to bite, or like the Taiwanese always like to describe "Q". My recommendation,is a must try for anyone. A big bowl cost only RM1.50.

After that walk to india street to find out where the curry puff which many people introduce.

Sorry because no pictures is available for this place cause is not properly shown at google map. For the directions, lets start from the Bata Shop, if the bata shop is on your right, walk straight and take the first right turn, after that you should able to see the shop on your left. Theres 2 curry puff shop joining together but i think is not owned by the same owner. i bought back the curry puffs from the shop on left.

Each cost RM1.50 which is reasonable for me because its quite big and a lot of meats and potato inside. It is quite delicious, but i prefer it to be spicier.

That's all for this post.If there is any question, do post a comment and let me know.

Open Air Market(Next to Electra House)

This place is located somewhere at the padang merdeka. This place is always crowded with people when night falls, is a great place for supper.

There have been some changes to the roads here at open air market, but there is no update here at google map, so what you've seen on the map is not the same anymore, the road has became one way, but the place(open air market) should be easy to recognized at somewhere where i circled on the map.

The famous sio bee sold at there. The price of this sio bee is quite expensive, it cost RM0.60 per piece which the size of it is small. But anyway, its delicious but not worth it.

One beverage i will recommend there is the 五味汤 which is one of the nicest one i've ever tried in Kuching. The 五味汤 stall i recommended is the one located behind which they only mainly sell 五味汤 not the other one at the front.
