Plus One Shabu Shabu @ 1 Utama

Life back to KL been busy, didn't get to do much updates. Went to this place call Plus One Shabu Shabu at 1 Utama one month ago. Its my first time here.

Waiting for the soup.

You can choose from a variety of soup here, the one i chosen is the Macau Style Soup Base which is the recommended one from the menu. Doesn't like it much as its a little bit sweet because of the sweet corn and red dates used.

Whats special here is probably the many many different types of sauce you can choose from, there should be around 10 choices you can decide. i chosen myself the sambal, spicy bean sauce, lao gan ma(chili flake sauce) which is my favourite the other two which i taste almost taste alike.

Overall, being not much a fan of shabu shabu, i gave this place a 6 out of 10, credit to the many choices of sauce available there.

Not Bad, quite salty. Rating, 7 out of 10.

Overall, all the dish was just ok for me, quite expensive too. Rating 6 out of 10 for all the dish shown above.

Mommy's Fried Chicken

My Mom's Fried Chicken! Super crispy n juicy inside! sprinkle salt and pepper on top, Yummmm Miii!

Gonna try it myself when i'm going back to KL.

Lamb Chop/Lamb Shoulder

This, i have to say, is one OF THE BEST lamb chop i have ever tasted so far in Kuching. Its a Must try for anyone who dine there, and the portion is a lot for RM16.90!

Da Wang Gong, Kuching, Sarawak

Da Wang Gong, this shop specialized in different versions of Sarawak Kolomee.

This is the Chicken Chop Noodle(鸡排面），the fried chicken its not so crispy, but the noodles were nice! Overall, i'll give it 7 out of 10.

This shop is located near Kuching Park Hotel.

The Dark Knight Rises(TDKR)

Watched This Epic movie last week, The Dark Knight Rises. People are giving great response to this movie, but i still prefer Avengers compared to this.

This Director Christopher Nolan added a lot of twist in this movies, but overall it came out a great story to this movie. Batman to me, before this batman trilogy exist, was just an simple superhero cartoon to me, no idea that it can be so complicated.

The guy behind the Bat Suit, Christian Bale. Good guy he is, as he visit to a place call Aurora to visit and offer his condolences to the victim of the cinema rampage during the premiere of TDKR. 

This guy name Bane with his mouth covered is truly a trouble for batman. Well, not really at the end, someone else does, not to spoil the movie for those who haven't watch.

The "Bat" mobile, mobile indeed!It Flies!

Overall, a great movie full of violence and surprises! More food post coming up! Stay tuned!

Porridge Meal

Found out this coffee shop not long ago, and the food here is good! No idea what's the name of the coffee shop, but is located next to the 100% discount store while you are on your way to green road(qing cao lu).

Hot and sour soup with seafood, nice! 9 out of 10!

Loh pork and duck, stewed duck meat and 3 layer meat to be exact. nothing special, quite sweet. 6.5/10 for me!

Warm plain porridge with soup and meat, an heart warming meal for cold rainy day!

Shilin Taiwan Street Snacks

Shilin Taiwan Snacks at Tun Jugah, infront of Sarawak Plaza, Behind Mcdonald.

The thick base oyster soup mee sua, i personally love it with the addition of the chili paste. Some might not like it as the taste of the oyster is quite heavy. 8 out of 10!

The XXL crispy chicken, part of it actually, as the rest is probably in the stomach dy. Super crispy and juicy inside, not to mention the aroma of the spices added on the chicken. 8 out of 10 for me!

Dim Sum at Sarawak Plaza

My first post for 2012. Dim Sum behind Sarawak Plaza.

Buy 3 free 1 at the price of RM10.50.

Taste? I'll give it 7 out of 10. That's all for this post!
