Red Kolomee(sekama)

This place is located at where i circled on the map.

Don't know the name of this coffee shop, but it is a corner shop as i had circled on the map. They are famous for their red or as known as (char shio yew)kolomee here but they do sell other food here too. This coffee shop is operating at morning and night until late night.

This bowl cost RM2.80. Their "char shio" is quite nice and taste of the mee is not that sweet, it has barbeque flavour because of its (char shio yew) they used which is quite original.

I would not say its delicious if compare to the kolomee on the previous post. The negative points i'm gonna give to this kolomee is that the kolomee is quite dried which i don't like about kolomee.

Thats all for this post.stay tuned for more updates.

2 dollars chicken rice(jalan mendu)

Trying out the RM2 chicken rice near my house. Its located at the shop house block at jalan mendu near sjk chung hua no.5. Its located at the place that i circled on the map.

Didn't manage to take picture outside the shop.

Here's some picture of the chicken rice i ordered.

I didn't order the RM2 ones, instead i asked for drumstick for 2 person which cost RM 8 which includes 2 rice.

Well, whats important is taste, right? The rice taste like every other chicken rice shop in kuching, but the chicken is quite different, the meat is quite tender, juicy and a little bit cold, in a delicious way with thier sauce provided.

Thats the end of this post, stay tuned.

五味汤 and curry puff(open air market and india street)

Remember the 五味汤 i mentioned about on my previous post, will be sharing some pictures with you all, is the same place, open air market.

This is the stall i'm talking about

If you ask me whats so special about the 五味汤 here, is the special jelly here. not the pink colours one, is the almost transparent cube-like thing.

Close-up look of "yi bee" and the jelly i mentioned about, What i like about this jelly is that its very nice to bite, or like the Taiwanese always like to describe "Q". My recommendation,is a must try for anyone. A big bowl cost only RM1.50.

After that walk to india street to find out where the curry puff which many people introduce.

Sorry because no pictures is available for this place cause is not properly shown at google map. For the directions, lets start from the Bata Shop, if the bata shop is on your right, walk straight and take the first right turn, after that you should able to see the shop on your left. Theres 2 curry puff shop joining together but i think is not owned by the same owner. i bought back the curry puffs from the shop on left.

Each cost RM1.50 which is reasonable for me because its quite big and a lot of meats and potato inside. It is quite delicious, but i prefer it to be spicier.

That's all for this post.If there is any question, do post a comment and let me know.

E-Taste Food Court(RH plaza)

This place is located at BDC RH plaza, it can be found at the area i've circled.

The coffee shop is at the corner. Only the hot pot stall and the kitchen at the back is operating during night. The hot pot stall is famous for its mutton soup and curry mutton soup.

The curry mutton soup is my favorite pick among the choice. The taste of the soup is not that spicy yet is delicious because is cooked with the lamb which improved the taste. It's a must try.

This one is the Asam fish. The taste is quite nice, but is nothing special since the taste is almost similar to other places.

Mushroom Pork Soup, first time trying this dish, and is surprisingly delicious for me who doesn't like to eat braised pork , because it doesn't have the strong braised taste, instead it taste really nice. My suggestion, just have a try.

Overall 5 pots,9 rice. RM40.++.One hot pot may cost you around RM6-7, is a recommendation from me if you and your family want a light dinner.

For your information, not all same choices you can get everyday here, they have different menus each day but the famous ones like the curry mutton soup and mutton soup will be selling for most days. Their menus timetable is paste on their stall
